An official transcript (or transcript evaluation) documenting your completed or in-progress bachelor’s degree is required for all graduate programs. �山���� requires an official transcript from all institutions attended, including those showing any graduate-level courses taken.

Check program-specific transcript requirements via their “Apply Now” page for additional details. 

If you earned your degree at...

• �山���� (or took classes here): Graduate Admissions will download your transcript for you.
• An institution in the United States: Contact the institution's registrar's office so they can issue your official transcript.
• An institution outside of the United States: Have your institution send your official records to one of our approved agencies ( (formerly SpanTran), , , , or ) for evaluation. �山���� requires a detailed, course-by-course evaluation.

Please note: an official transcript or transcript evaluation is one that is sent directly from the institution attended or evaluation agency, either electronically or via standard mail.

How to send us your transcripts

We recommend that you have your previous transcripts sent electronically, when possible. Electronic transcripts can be sent directly from your previous institution to gradadmissions@salemstate.edu.  

If you are unable to send an electronic transcript, transcripts can be mailed to the address below. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
